"Morocco out of Western Sahara" |

On 12 April at Mynttorget in Stockholm, Sweden a manifestation has been organised by the supporters of Saharawi people, this manifestation is one of the initiative taken by the Jakobesbergs Folkhögskola in this month . It is in connection with calling the international community to stand firm in supporting the right of Saharawi people in self-determination. "It is high time to go from word to deed, Sweden as member state of UN must demand the end of occupation and the peace process should continue". Hundreds of signatures has been given on the same day to a representative of the foreign ministry. During the manifestation Eva Zetterberg member of Parliament and vice-chair of the Swedish parliament has made a speech in which expressed the importance of the respect of the Saharawi right of self-determination "there is a consensus in Swedish parliament about the question of Western Sahara" she said . On the 15th April a seminar in solidarity with the Saharawi people has been organised by the Emmaus Björkå. On 16th April a meeting has been organised by the "Föreningen Västsahara " on Western Sahara conflict in "ZENIT" Stockholm titled "Western Sahara is an occupied land" during this meeting a historic background had been presented to the audience by Maria Lindman, and the students group from the " Jakobsbergs Folkhöskola" talked about their last trip to the refugees camps , and Mr Jan Strömdahl the chairmen of the association presented the recent development of Western Sahara . Mr Yahiaoui Lamine Polisario representative for the Nordic Countries ,has concluded this meeting with discussion on the future of Western Sahara and perspective of the out come of the coming decision of the UN security council .
