At invitation of President Kabila Mohamed Abdelaziz participates in
Kinshasa to the ceremonies of the 37th independence anniversary of
the Democratic Republic of Congo, together with the Presidents of
Namibia, Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi, Centralafrican Republic,
Congo-Brazzaville and Ghana (agencies).

Nigeria
General Sani Abacha receives the Sahrawi President and declares that
the recent decision of the SADR to open a diplomatic mission at Abuja
will contribute to inform Nigeria about the developments of the
conflict between Morocco and the Polisario Front. Mr. Abdelaziz
declares he is "pleased about the role of Nigeria to bring Morocco
and the SADR to a peacefull solution of their conflict"
(agencies).

Recognition retired
According to the Moroccan medias Swaziland, which recognized SADR
1980, would have retired its recognition. It would be the eightth
African country, after Benin, Burkina-Fasso, Congo-Brazzaville,
Guinea-Bissau, Sao-Tome and Principe, Chad and Togo.
