French editor arrested in Morocco and expelled
The French editor Antoine Gallimard, invited to the Salon du livre at
Casablanca, has been detained for some hours by Moroccan police. He
edited in 1990 the book " Notre ami le roi " written by Gilles
Perrault which denounced the violations of Human Rights in Morocco.

Meeting
The UN Secretary General Boutros Ghali met at Rome Moroccos Prime
Minister Abdelatif Filali. According to official Moroccan sources the
subject were the actual developpments of the situation in Western
Sahara.

22th European Conference of support to the Sahrawi people,
Sabadell, Barcelona, Spain
During 3 days, about 250 participants from Spain, Italy, Beelgium,
France,Great Britain,Austria, portugal, Sveden, Germany, Switzerland,
Japan, Mexico, United States, Algeria and Western Sahara studied the
actual situation and examined in different workshops how to continue
and increase their support to the sahrawi people as well on the
political as the humanitarian level. In the same time international
lawyers founded the International Association of Lawyers for Western
Sahara.
