The Release of Minatou ( Mallak) Amidane
On July 13, 2007 at about 22:00 GMT, the Moroccan authorities in El
Aaiun, Western Sahara released the Sahrawi citizen, Minatou (Mallak) Amidane, sister of
the political prisoner Elwali
Amidane, sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in the Black Prison in
El Aaiun, Western Sahara.
According to her, she was interrogated mainly upon:
- her relationship to the Sahrawi human rights activists in El Aaiun.
- her relationship to the political prisoners in the Black Prison
in El Aaiun.
- her relationship to the preparations for the release
celebration of the Sahrawi political prisoner
and HR activist, Ettarrouzi Yahdih on July 14, 2007.
- the Sahrawi leaders of the demonstrations that Al Inaach district in
El Aaiun, has been witnessing for the last few months.
Having spent about 22 hours in custody, she is now suffering from
serious pain on one of her feet, as a police agent deliberately
maltreated her inside the police van at her abduction.
Her family could not see her until she spent 15 hours disappearing,
when only her mother Fatma Amidane could have a glimpse of her for
about a minute in the judicial police center.
Minatou (Mallak) Amidane was born in 1983 in El Aaiun, Western Sahara
and have been participating actively in the demonstrations calling for
the Sahrawi right to self-determination and independence.

The Breaking into a Sahrawi citizen's house in El Aaiun, Western
Sahara
On July 12, 2007, the Moroccan repressive forces burst into the
house of the Sahrawi citizen Abbah
Mohamed Fadel Bouchalga, located in Hay Alfatteh ( Alfatteh
district) in El Aaiun, Western Sahara at 08:00 a.m. GMT.
Althogh Mr. Bouchalga protested against their illegal violent act
and tried to ban them from entering his house, the police insisted on
the burst.
The Moroccan police also arrested his three sons; one of them is a
minor:
- Habib Bouchalga, 24 years old.
- Ennajem Bouchalga, 27 years old.
- Sid Ahmad Bouchalga, 16 years old.
The three sons spent 04 hours in custody under the police interrogation
about their personal information, their family members in the refugee
camps and upon the peaceful protest demonstrations in their district.
The three detainees did not mention being beaten or tortured by the
police agents in the judicial police center.

Al Fatteh district has been witnessing several demonstrations calling
for the Sahrawi right to self-determination and independence.

The release of the Sahrawi human rights activist, Ettarrouzi Yahdih
from the Black Prison in El Aaiun, Western Sahara
On Saturday July 14, 2007, the Moroccan authorities released the
Sahrawi human rights activist and member of the CODESA, the Sahrawi
political prisoner Yahdih Ettarrouzi after
spending 10 months imprisonment in the Black Prison in El Aaiun,
Western Sahara.
Yahdih Ettarrouzi, 25 years old, was arrested in Tantan, south of
Morocco on September 14, 2006 for his participation in the protest
demonstrations calling for the Sahrawi people's right to
self-determination and independence, and the contribution in the
recording and unveiling of the flagrant violations perpetrated by the
Moroccan state against the Saharawi citizens in the Western Sahara and
in Morocco.
While he was in an internet café in Tantan, 10 secret police
agents in civil clothes abducted him, put him in a civil van. They took
him to El Aaiun, and put him in the Black Prison untl he was sentenced
to 12 months imprisonment (First Instance), later on reduced to 10
months imprisonment in the court of Appeal in El Aaiun.

Liberación del activista saharaui de derechos humanos,
Yahdih Tarruzi de la Cárcel Negra de El Aaiun.
El sábado, 14 de julio de 2007, las autoridades
marroquíes liberaron al activista de saharaui de derechos
humanos y miembro de CODESA, el preso político Yahdih Tarruzi tras cumplir 10 meses
de prisión en la Cárcel Negra de El Aaiun, Sáhara
Occidental.
Yahdih Tarruzi, de 25 años, fue detenido en Tantan, sur de
Marruecos, el 14 de septiembre de 2006 por su participación en
las manifestaciónes de protesta a favor del derecho del pueblo
saharaui a la autodeterminación y la independencia, y su
contribución en la grabación y difusión de las
flagrantes violaciones de derechos humanos cometidas por el estado
marroquí contra los ciudadanos saharuais en el Sáhara
Occidental y en Marruecos.
Mientras Yahdih Tarruzi se encontraba en un cybercafé en Tantan,
10 agentes de policía secreta, vestidos de civil lo secuestraron
en una furgoneta. Le condujeron a El Aaiun, a la Cárcel Negra
hasta que fue condenado a 12 meses de cárcel (en la primera
vista), pena reducida más tarde a 10 meses de cárcel por
el tribunal de apelación de El Aaiun, pena que acaba de cumplir.
Liberación de Aminetu "Mallak" Amidane
El viernes 13 de julio de 2007 las autoridades marroquíes de
ocupación en El Aaiun, Sáhara Occidental, liberaron a la
ciudadana saharaui, Aminetu "Mallak"
Amidane , hermana del preso político Luali Amidane, que
cumple condena de 5 años de prisión en la Cárcel
Negra de El Aaiun.
Según su testimonio, fue interrogada principalmente sobre:
- su relación con los activistas saharauis de derechos humanos
en El Aaiun.
- su relación a los presos políticos en la Cárcel
Negra de El Aaiun.
- su relación a los preparativos de la celebración de la
liberación del preso político saharaui y activista de
derechos humanos, Yahdih Tarruzi el 14 de julio de 2007.
- los líderes saharauis de las manifestaciónes que han
tenido lugar en los últimos meses en el distrito de Al Inaach en
El Aaiun.
Tras haber pasado unas 22 horas retenida, sufre de fuertes dolores en
sus pies, a causa de los malos tratos a los que le sometió un
agente en el interior la furgoneta de policía durante su
secuestro.
Su familia no pudo verla hasta pasadas 15 horas de su
desaparición, sólo su madre Fatma Amidane pudo verla
durante aproximadamente un minuto en el centro judicial de
policía.
Aminetu "Mallak" Amidane nació en 1983 en El Aaiun,
Sáhara Occidental y ha participado activamente en las
manifestaciónes por el derecho saharaui a la
autodeterminación y la independencia.
Allanamiento de la casa de un ciudadano saharaui en El Aaiun
El 12 de julio de 2007, las fuerzas represivas marroquíes
irrumpieron en la casa del ciudadano saharaui Abbah Mohamed Fadel Bouchalga,
localizada en el distrito Alfatteh de El Aaiun, Sáhara
Occidental.
Aunque el Sr. Bouchalga protestó contra este violento acto
ilegal y trató de prohibirles entrar en su casa, la
policía irrumpió en el domicilio.
La policía marroquí también detuvo a sus tres
hijos, uno de ellos menor:
- Habib Bouchalga, 24 años.
- Ennajem Bouchalga, 27 años.
- Sid Ahmad Bouchalga, 16 años.
Los tres hijos pasaron cuatro horas detenidos, siendo interrogados por
la policía sobre su situación personal, los miembros de
su familia en los campamentos de refugiados y sobre las manifestaciones
pacíficas en su distrito. Los tres detenidos no mencionaron ser
golpeados o torturados por los agentes de policía en el centro
judicial de policía.
Nota. En el distrito de Al Fatteh se han desarrollado varias
manifestaciones a favor del derecho saharaui a la
autodeterminación y la independencia.
